Welcome to Mrs. Williamson's classroom home page. This page was created so that you may access information regarding your child's school work in Kindergarten at McKinley Elementary. We use Language Arts materials by Harcourt and this program is in a scripted and sequential format. Every three weeks the students will be learning a group of new letters. This isn't to say that we don't talk about the sounds of other letters during this time but we will have a concentration on the three that are noted by a given Theme. Also, during this Theme, the students will be introduced to two or three Word Wall words. At the beginning of each theme, I will send home a paper that states which letters and words we will be working on. I will also, show them on my web page for easy access. |
