Marion Students Obtain Trade Skills and Experience Through Career Tech Program

Operating a forklift to move materials quickly and safely. Utilizing welding tools and knowledge to build a stronger framework. Making the correct wood cuts and measurements in order to build a sound structure. These are some of the skills taught and learned at the Mary Ellen Withrow High School Academy, which is celebrating its first anniversary this school year.

Marion City Schools Board of Education to meet Oct 19

The Marion City Schools Board of Education meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Harding High School in the cafeteria. The audience will be limited to 50 people who are required to wear a mask and social distance.
