This program provides students with the unique opportunity to work with and be trained by industry professionals to learn practices in lawn, property, and building maintenance. Students will be immersed in the processes of the property service industry and develop the skills for employment. In this program the ultimate objective is to prepare students for entry level positions in the property services industry. They will exit the course with the understanding of basic hand and power tools, use of forklift, mowers, grass trimmers,leaf blowers, basic electrical, basic plumbing, repair drywall, painting, carpet repair, flooring, masonry, asphalt sealing and Concrete.

Upon completion of the Property Services program, students will be able to work as a Grounds and Building Maintenance Worker, Landscape Technician, or Lawn Care Specialist. With advanced training and education, students can become an Arborist-Tree Technician, a Certified Landscape Technician, a Floral Designer or Manager, a Golf Course Superintendent or a Greenhouse, Landscape or Nursery Manager.
Students will create their own simulated company where every employee (student) will have a specific position within the company. The simulated workplace environment permits students the opportunity to take ownership of their individual performance as it impacts the overall success of their education, while thriving in an authentic workplace culture. Simulated Workplace also encourages local business and industry experts to join onsite review teams to assist schools in meeting their workforce needs and expectations.
