Elementary Handbook

Welcome to William McKinley Elementary School....

                                                 

We are pleased to have moved into our new school in 2004. All of our staff are "Highly Qualified" teachers that are certified by the state of Ohio. Currently, we have over 400 students in grades Pre-school through 5th grades. Our curriculum follows the state of Ohio Academic Content Standards that are measured by the state of Ohio Achievement tests. Our staff strives to provide a quality education for each child through a variety of educational strategies. We continue to strive for a safe and healthy environment for all. In 2006 we were please to have been identified as one of the schools in the state of Ohio to receive the Gold Buckeye Award for Health and Safety Schools. We value parental support as we work together for the benefit of the children. You are always welcome to call and schedule a visit to our school. We are proud of our school, our students, and our staff as we strive to make learning an enjoyable life-long process.
