Principal's Note:
In the case of inclement weather, the administration and staff will take every precaution to protect our students from the elements. When the temperature is below 25 degrees or it if is raining/snowing heavily, students will not be going outside for recess.

Announcements
Regular school attendance is one of the most important factors in successful learning for all students. When students are absent from school they not only miss instruction, but they also miss the opportunity to participate in learning centers, class discussions, and class projects. Generally, students with satisfactory or better attendance are more successful in school. One of the best ways parents can help their children be successful in school is to help their child be on time and ready to l, earn everyday. Taft Elementary School considers attendance to be an extremely important factor for our students.
ONE CALL is the new system of alerting parents about important school news. It will only work if we have a working phone number. If something happens at school you would want to be notified. Please keep the school updated on any phone number changes.
