Inspiring a Community of Achievement

Parent Involvement

Parent Involvement

Parent involvement is a very important aspect of the Marion City Schools Preschool Program.

Each classroom teacher will give you information about how you can be involved in your child's preschool program. All the preschool teachers will communicate with parents the schedules and activities that will be occurring in the classroom.

Any custodial parent, custodian, or guardian of a child enrolled in the program shall be permitted unlimited access to the preschool during its hours of operation for the purpose of contacting the child, evaluating the care provided by the program, or evaluating the premises. Upon entering the premises as a parent participant, you must sign in at the school's office and notify the preschool teacher in advance.

Please contact the teacher if you have concerns about the program. Continuing concerns can be addressed to Jennifer Sheridan, director of student services, and/or Renee Linn, preschool coordinator for Marion City Schools.
